AVIV means to be reborn.. In biblical tradition, it represents a new season—life flourishing and purpose awakening after the winter.

I founded Aviv by Marsella because I believe that medicine should do more than just treat symptoms; it should understand the woman behind them. After years in traditional clinical settings, I saw a recurring pattern: women arriving exhausted, inflamed, and ignored, with their symptoms dismissed as “just part of aging”.

Aviv by Marsella was born to change that narrative. We provide a space where you are heard, where your biology is respected, and where we use precision medicine to help you return to yourself.

   

Meet Marsella Jimeno-Peralta, FNP-C

My journey in medicine began in 2005, when I graduated Cum Laude as a General Physician in the Dominican Republic. From the start, I recognized that educating is a form of healing. I dedicated the early years of my career to primary care and health education, hosting television and radio programs to inspire others to care for their physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Upon moving to Florida, I made a conscious decision to balance professional excellence with my most important roles: wife and mother. I transitioned my credentials in the U.S., becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

My clinical perspective was deeply shaped by years in Cardiology. There, it became evident that many chronic conditions could be prevented or even reversed by optimizing metabolic health and harmonizing hormones. This realization led me to pursue advanced certifications to better serve women like you:

My work is an expression of my faith. I believe that every woman has a purpose and that her body is a temple meant to live in abundance. At Aviv by Marsella, we acknowledge the order and purpose of the “rebirth” process. Whether I am spending time with my husband and three teenagers, caring for our four dogs, or adjusting a patient’s protocol, I am driven by the belief that honoring your biology is a way of honoring your life.
